SESA 來自義大利的馬爾凱地區，自1976年開始使用手工的方式製造鞋類產品，
與多數的義大利工廠相同，SESA 從創立到1980年代，替美國的品牌代工，手工縫製莫卡辛鞋和樂福鞋。
1990 年代開始，隨著多數大公司將生產線轉移到亞洲，歐洲能夠手工製品的工廠變得越來越少。
但SESA認為這樣的技術必須被保留，而且成為它們的基石。
2019年，SESA二代老闆Marco訪問日本，展出了他們的手工樂福鞋和手工靴子系列。
期間，他遇到了日本鞋類設計公司 To&Co 的設計師 Masahiro Wakabayashi。
Masahiro 和 Marco 很快就合作開發了 Sesa Heritage 系列，以 1980 年代經典的日本皮鞋為基礎，搭配義大利手工製鞋的質感。
